Certified Polishing Course
Are you interested in learning the basics of polishing? The polishing course is designed to provide a solid foundational framework for further skill development. It is typically offered three times per year and is generally scheduled in May, June or October.
Course Content
The course provides you with knowledge of preparation work, polishing, and final finish. You will learn how to use a sandblaster, lapping techniques (with both lapping disk and dovetail disk), and various polishing wheels such as rubber grinding, Manhattan, and felt. You will also practice satin finishes and sunburst finishes. During the final part of the course, you will complete an assessment requiring you to demonstrate the skills you have acquired.
The course structure is flexible and can be adapted to your preferences. You may complete the course over three consecutive weeks or split it into one-week segments over a longer period, but in total it takes approximately three weeks to complete.
Cost
The course fee is 30 000 SEK excluding VAT.
The price includes a polishing manual, which you will find very useful even after the course.
